Andrew Janiak
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Duke University. My work is primarily in early modern metaphysics and epistemology, with a special emphasis on the relation between philosophy and science in the early modern period.
Before coming to Duke in September 2002, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Dibner Institute for the History of Science & Technology at MIT. My training in philosophy was at the University of Michigan and at Indiana University, where I got my Ph.D. in philosophy, with a minor in history and philosophy of science (HPS).
