faceLab
faceLAB 3.0 is the latest version of Seeing Machines gaze tracking technology.
With faceLAB you can analyse head pose and eye behaviours in environments way beyond the laboratory. Unlike other systems currently available, faceLAB does not use corneal illumination or magnetic sensors making it extremely flexible.
Features of this latest release include:
- New automatic creation of front-only head models (Autoinit).
- Improved head tracking algorithm, allowing tracking in a greater range of head poses,
e.g. Z axis rotations.
- Improved image intensity control - more responsive, less overshoot.
- A variety of command line options.
- Simultaneous logging of real-time and accurate data to the network.
- A choice between real-time and accurate display modes.
- A “Snap-to-Gaze” feature for quick fine-tuning of world model construction.
- A Head-Pose prediction slider for logging the anticipated head pose for real-time applications.
- Numerous user interface improvements, and
- faceLAB 3.0 now supports Windows XP.
