The DWL-120 will operate in 2.4GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) for wireless networks in the home or office environment. In addition, the DWL-120 uses a 128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption for a secure network connection. The D-Link DWL-120 can operate in either ad-hoc mode (peer-to-peer networking without access point) or infrastructure mode (peer-to-peer networking using an access point). In infrastructure mode, the DWL-120 can be connected to a wireless broadband residential gateway for high-speed wireless Internet access on the existing local network. |

The D-Link wireless adapter looks a great deal for creating a Wifi System for home or office. I know some other adapters that are also nice to work
