It is easy to get between the centre of London and London City Airport, as the airport is situated only 10 miles (16km) from the West End (the shopping and political district), six miles (10km) from the City of London (the financial district) and three miles (5km) from Canary Wharf (London’s newest business and financial centre).
At the front of the terminal you can take a special airport shuttlebus to link up with Canning Town, Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street, all on the London Underground (the tube) network.
Shuttlebus fares are indicated in the relevant sections and tickets can be bought from machines located at the shuttlebus stops, or from the driver on the bus.
London Underground one-day travelcards (suitable for local buses, trains, DLR and the tube) can be purchased at the British Hotel Reservation Desk, located opposite the International Arrivals doors.
