Tkinterを使ってPyGameで日本語入力を
PyGameは、スプライト表示、ジョイスティック入力、CDROM、サウンド、動画、TrueTypeフォント等を扱うためのライブラリ「SDL」のpythonラッパーです。
PyGameではゲームを作るのに必要な機能の大半が備わっているのですが、最近のネットワークゲームで必要なチャットで使う入力用インタフェースがありません。 ASCII文字だけであればキーイベントでエミュレートすることも可能でしょうが、とくに日本語の入力のように機能が複雑な場合はそれは現実的ではありません。
そこで、Python標準のGUIライブラリTkinterのEntry（テキストフィールド）ウィジェットを使って日本語入力を行えないか検討してみました。ここで紹介する方法は、Tkのウィジェットの描画をPyGameで行い、 PyGameウィジェットの上にEntryを乗せる方式をとりました。

Tk中にPyGameを埋め込むPythonコードは以下のようになります。同様の手法はwxPythonでも使えます。 # -*- coding: CP932 -*-
