美国印钞局发行的鸡年“8888”生肖吉利纪念钞
　　中新网12月16日电美国印钞局为迎接华人新年的到来，今年提早推出鸡年吉利纪念钞。这是继马年、羊年、猴年后第四年发行生肖吉利钞。
　　据华声报报道，这款编号以华人喜爱的8888开头的一元钞票，采用中国传统新年节日的红色包装、内有“吉祥如意，岁岁平安”等贺词，加上鸡年
图案及美国印钞局的的标记和中英文说明，在全球定量发行，因为发量低和迎合中国传统喜爱的“发发发发”意头，相信会与往年的吉利钞一样，深受华人社区的欢
迎。
　　据美国《星岛日报》报道，鸡年吉利钱不是美国印钞局为华裔发行的第一套纪念钞票，第一次发行的“吉利钱”在4年前的新春期间于首都华盛顿华埠发行，因当时反应热烈，美国印钞局决定马年、羊年、猴年以及鸡年再发行此套生肖吉利钞票，以后更会发行至十二生肖。
