One of the web annoyances — ZoneAlarm won’t respond to key and mouse via VNC. If you don’t know that I am talking about, stop here.
It turns out it’s a feature rather than a bug. All you need to do is to go to the preferences tab and unckeck the "protect zonealarm client" thingy. See
