Affective Norms for English Text (ANET)

The Affective Norms for English Text (ANET) provides normative ratings of emotion (pleasure, arousal, dominance) for a large set of brief texts in the English language for use in experimental investigations of emotion and attention. The ANET is being developed and distributed by the NIMH Center for Emotion and Attention (CSEA) at the University of Florida.

The appropriate citation for the ANET is:

Bradley, M. M., & Lang, P. J. (2007). Affective Norms for English Text (ANET): Affective ratings of text and instruction manual. (Tech. Rep. No. D-1). University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.
