Google Chrome Adblock Add On
My students were abhored to find me using Google Chrome one day in class. Yep, I am one of the 1% who still do, because it’s much faster to start than Firefox and uses less memory over time. But I miss all the extensions I have on FF. One must have is Adblocker.
There is no such thing as Chrome add on, at least for now. However, I got something almost as good from here
Google Chrome addon plugin with Firefox addon
Disable/block Ads on webpage (Adblock for chrome)
Adblock+ Just drag and drop this link/bookmarklet on your bookmarks bar.Ad block removes “java, flash, background music, and third-party iframes.” Thus it does a handy job of blocking the ads on a webpage. who says only firefox addon block ads ? Chrome too has a Adblock type addon now!
There are a bunch of other things that I have not tried. But this one works. The only catch is that you have to click it after the page is fully loaded. Then all the ads magically disappear.

This addon works fine in Chrome, albeit still under development: http://www.adsweep.org

Try Ad Muncher. It works GREAT on Chrome. I also use it for IE and Firefox. IMHO, it’s the best universal Ad Blocker out there.
